A transparent thread

A thick, transparent thread holds the people’s souls tightly bound together, so that whatever one feels, everyone feels. A secret of nature that we have learned to follow faithfully. A call. Voices filling the space, and you; sitting across from me, smiling at every word that leaves my lips. You scent my life like a rose in the garden of paradise, just before I say goodnight.

A synchronised storm of dreams blossoms every August along the paths of Salamiou. It is a tradition that grows and spreads year after year, so that more and more people may celebrate a rare spring in the heart of the summer heat.

And let the nest be unbuilt, where we will tuck our love for life. It knows neither drought nor hail. Stone by stone, it will rise high into the sky.
